[Review] Hada Laboღ Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion【使用心得】

Hello cuties,

It's been a while since my last update and I seem to be very busy..xD I will have more time for blogging in the near future, I promise!
For those who have been following my Instagram.. yes I was in Asia last month! =D I have bought soo many skincare and makeup goodies to try out, that I don't even know which one to use first.
(肌研 - 極潤 多分子透明質酸)Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion

Okay, I have tried so many goodies that I don't even know which to write about. I'll introduce my current love then, Hado Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion (肌研 - 極潤 多分子透明質酸)You must have heard of it or seen it before on commercials. This toner has been voted for best toner in Japan (even better than SKII?!?), and is recommended by many famous beauty guru's and beauty shows like 女人我最大.

I have been reading a lot about this lotion since last year, as this lotion has very high ratings, but I didn't had the chance to try this yet. I thought it would be like (White Formula)自白肌‘s Hyaluronic moisturizing lotion, but after using it for a month now, I could finally feel the difference.

Jun Ji Hyun is the new spokesperson for this product! Another reason to try this lotion ;P.

So how to use? After cleansing, I use 5-6 drops of the lotion to pat into my skin until my skin feels soft and moist. (No break-outs!)

*This toner most suitable for dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin.
* Use every morning and evening after face wash, gently massage the face and neck with the toner.

This lotion is comparable to White Formula (自白肌)'s lotion, as they both have a thick lliquid serum-like consistency. The thick texture doesn't leave any trace of greasiness and it doesn't clog my pores. After using, I realize that my dehydrated skin likes Hada Labo a bit more, as it absorbs very quickly and my skin looks very moist after use.

The price of the lotion is great for what you get, I paid 500 TWD ($16!!) for a bottle of 170ml. ( I think 1 bottle can last up to 6 months... depending on how much you use of course.)

Pros & Cons:

♥Softening effect
♥Hydrates my skin well
♥Consistency of the toner is like a serum
♥Absorbs very well
♥Price (not expensive at all)
♥No scent
♥Suitable for sensitive skin
♥Alcohol Free
♥Not sticky

✖No cooling effect (other toners usually have a cooling effect.)
✖Absorbs well, however not as quick as a thin liquid toner.

I have been using SKII's toner since January, and I must say that the softening and moisturizing effect of the Hada Labo lotion is a lot better in comparison. However, I like the soothing and cooling effect of SK II. This Hado Labo lotion was worth trying and I will definitely repurchase this product. Highly recommended for all skin types!

As I mentioned before, I have been using SKII for while now. So I will be posting my my thoughts about that famous toner soon. =D Thanks for reading xxx Oh and uhm, I want to try Skinny Mint Detox Tea.. should I do it?? =D

[Review] Estee Lauderღ Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator Serum【使用心得】

[Review] Estee Lauderღ Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator Serum
雅詩蘭黛- 靈霞亮肌修護精華液【使用心得】

Hello everyone,
Today, I am going to review another product of Estee Lauder.

The Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator Serum. I have been using this product for almost 6 months, and I would like to share my thoughts about this serum.

So this is what the packaging says: "Now, Estee Lauder Research invents an intensive, yet gentle serum to reveal your ideal skin tone. Proven to dramatically reduce the look of dark spots, discolorations, blotchiness, redness and traces of acne for all ethnicities - all skin tones. This highly-effective, oil-free formula with our exclusive technology reveals skin that looks fresh, radiant, more flawlessly even-fast. Anti-oxidants help prevent imperfections and unevenness from reappearing. Skin  looks incredibly clear, even tones and luminous."

The Idealist illuminator promises to reduce the look of uneven skin tone dramatically. I want that flawless skin  that looks incredibly clear, even-toned and luminous!! This product seemed very promising to me. Therefore, I decided to purchase a bottle to see whether it works or not. So did it reduce my look of uneven skin tone?

Well, like I have mentioned in my previous posts, I get allergic red itchy spots on my face and neck. Some of these spots won't disappear, so they'll turn into dark spots and scars. So I really need something to reduce these ugly spots.

As you can see this serum has a pearly greenish/blue bottle with a pump. Which I like a lot, because it's more hygienic. The serum liquid itself has a yellow color and it is shimmery. My skin looks very healthy and bright (and shiny) after applying this serum. I love the fact that my skin tone really does looks more even, but only when I am wearing this serum. This product does not clog my pores, and it made my skin feels very smooth and soft (because there is a lot of silicone in it).

This is how the serum liquid looks like:

---------------------------------------

Pros & Cons:

♥ Brighter complexion
♥ Moisturizing
♥ softens my skin
♥ absorbs very quickly
♥Packaging, easy to use pump bottle
♥ nice scent!

✖ very expensive!
✖ did not really reduce my dark spots. I guess this product works a bit slow.

I am using this serum every morning as a primer, because it makes my skin very smooth and soft, which makes it easier to apply makeup. The Idealist illuminator is a nice product. I like the consistency, the color, the smell, the packaging and the even skin tone it gave me. However, I must say, it did not dramatically reduce my look of uneven skin tone. My skin looks nice when I am wearing this serum, but not without, so this serum is more a makeup product to me. However, I must say, it did reduce my dark spots a little bit. I guess this serum needs a little bit more time to do its job!
So would I buy this product again? Not sure, this product is very expensive. I might want to try some other products first.

[Review] Estee Lauderღ Advanced Night Repair Serum & Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme 【使用心得】

[Review] Estee Lauderღ Advanced Night Repair Serum & Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme
雅詩蘭黛-超智慧DNA特潤修護精華液 & 水晶瑩極致保濕系列保濕霜【使用心得】

Hello everyone~! I have a new layout! It's more simple now=) Do you like it?
Today I am going to review 2 products of my daily skincare routine!

Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex Serum & Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme. I have been using Estee Lauder's products for around 10 months now, so it's about time to review these products.

Let's start with the famous advanced night repair serum that everyone is craving for. =P

The advanced night repair is a serum that promises to repair your skin at night, while you're sleeping. Sounds interesting huh?

Okay, this is what it promises: "When used every day, this advanced complex helps skin continuously repair the damage caused by every major environmental assualt - UV light, smoke, pollution, even emotional stress. Over time, you'll see a dramatic reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, dehydration and discoloration. "

I have been using this product every night together with my moisturizer. So did it repair my skin? Well, this product did brighten my complexion and my skin feels softer than before. (My skin was not rough or anything.. but it felt like it enhanced my skin texture. xD) However, it did not repair all my skin issues. I have a sensitive skin and I get allergic red spots. Unfortunately, this product did not reduce these allergic red spots on my skin. As for the anti-aging effects, I don't have much to say about this, because I don't (really) have wrinkles (yet).

How to use: apply several drops all over cleansed face and throat, follow with a moisturizer that's right for you.

Pros & Cons:

♥ Brighter complexion
♥ Moisturizing
♥ softens my skin
♥ absorbs very quickly
♥Packaging, easy to use drop style dispenser
♥ Anti-aging, (don't know whether it works tho)

✖ very expensive!
✖ needs an additional moisturizer to hydrate your skin.
(you need to combine this serum with a moisturizer. )

I have always been using affordable Asian skincare products, so Estee Lauder is my first luxury skincare line. The Advanced Night Repair serum is my first serum and I like it a lot. However, I hate the fact that it's so expensive. (My friends gave me a complete Estee Lauder skincare set as a birthday present last year, so I did not pay for it myself.) Recommended? Yes! I would definitely recommend this product to others. It was worth trying and I like it a lot! Will I buy it again? Not sure.. l want try some other luxury skincare lines first, so I can compare them.

Overall rating 7.5/10

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Like I just mentioned, the Advanced Night Repair needs an additional moisturizer to make it work. The moisturizer I am using right after this serum is Estee Lauder's Hydrationist.

This moisturizing cream tends to: "keep skin hydrated all day long and strengthen its resistance to signs of premature aging. Instantly, feel a rush of fresh moisture-a wave of intense hydration that lasts 24 hours. With continued use, our exclusive Sustainable Moisture Complex with revival plant extract helps boost, balance and maintain skin's optimum moisture levels. Leaves skin youthful and healthy looking. Soft and super hydrated. "

First of all, I like the smell and the consistency of this product. This moisturizing cream feels very soft and it absorbs very quickly. My skin felt very smooth and hydrated after using this product. However, this moisturizing cream isn't working for me during cold winters. My skin was extremely dry during the winter and this product was not able to hydrate my skin well. Nevertheless, I love using this product during spring, summer and fall.

Pros & Cons:

♥ Moisturizing
♥ softens my skin
♥ absorbs very quickly
♥ nice scent!

✖ expensive!
✖ not moist enough for cold winters

I don't have much to say about the hydrationist. It's a nice moisturizing cream and I would recommended this product if you're looking for a nice scented and soft moisturizing cream.
